Following his celebrated participation in “Dreaming Awake,” this new collection explores the profound interplay of nature and artifice, juxtaposing natural elements like waterfalls and mountains with artificial structures and lighting. These striking compositions evoke both alienation and introspection, creating a visual and conceptual dialogue about human existence and resilience.

Pisanelli’s artistry reflects his deep Italian cultural roots while innovating contemporary narrative painting. His works, celebrated in Italy and New York, blend realism with metaphor, transforming landscapes into “threshold images” that mirror global and personal themes—pandemics, migrations, and hope amid adversity.
