The European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe are pleased to present the YTAA – Young Talent Architecture Award 2018 Debates and Granting Ceremony. The event will take place on Thursday, 20th September, at Palazzo Michiel (Strada Nuova, 4391, 30121 Campo Santi Apostoli, Venice) from 14:00 to 18:00h.
As part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, the debate will focus on “Heritage and architectural education” and “Heritage: transformation, reconstruction and reuse” and it will bring together the #YTAAWinners, participants from the Future Architecture Platform and other stakeholders.

It is open to everybody who is interested in the architecture profession, its pluridisciplinarity and the dialogue between architects, policy-makers, students and representatives from other sectors.
The debate will be followed by the Young Talent Architecture Awards (YTAA) granting ceremony which will bring together the winners, the finalists, the jury members and those who make YTAA possible.
After the ceremony at Palazzo Michiel, the cocktail will begin at 17:00 at Palazzo Mora.
The Young Talent Architecture Award 2018 Exhibition, Awards Ceremony and Debate are a Collateral Event of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
YTAA is organised by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe with the support of Creative Europe as an extension of the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. It is organised in partnership with the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) and the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE-CAE); and world architects as a founding partner; the European Cultural Centre as a partner in Venice; sponsored by JUNG and Jansen AG; and with the support of USM Modular Furniture.
