According to Amnesty International‘s official site Iranian authorities ordered the arrest of Reza Khandan, husband of prominent jailed human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh.

In perfect “Ayatollah’s style” Iranian authorities firstly harass, intimidate and threaten huamn rights lawyer’s family and friends and then they proceed to arrest her husband. Nasrin Sotoudeh is under hunger-strike.

Amnesty International wrote that “Reza Khandan’s lawyer, Mohammad Moghimi, said in a Facebook post that after his arrest, Reza Khandan was taken to the Office of the Prosecutor in Tehran’s Evin prison where he was charged with “spreading propaganda against the system” and “colluding to commit crimes against national security.” He has also been accused of “promoting the practice of appearing in public without a veil” because of his support for the Iranian women’s campaign against forced veiling (hijab)”.
