The need of road safety spread huge demonstrations in Bangladesh that gripped the country for more than a week, after a bus killed two teenage students in Dhaka on July 29.
The protests were dominated by young people. They asked the central governement to promise harshes sentences for citizens who cause accidents.
According to Dhaka Tribune road accidents killed 4,284 people in 2017.
