A truck bomb exploded at a busy security checkpoint in Somalia’s capital Saturday morning, killing 70 people (61 people, as some news agency reported) in one of the deadliest attacks in Mogadishu in recent memory.
According to African News citing Associated Press more than 50 wounded people; many university students were among those killed. Police said the dead also included two Turkish nationals. Between the dead children and women.
There still no claim of responsibility for the attack. Blasts like that are very often linked to terrorists groups as al-Qaida or al-Shabab.
