FInally he said “Yes”. Michael Bloomberg brings his huge personal fortune and decided to run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020. Former New York City Mayor announced he will join the race on Sunday 24th. His decision adds new uncertainty to a confused Democratic Party still uncertain about what to do to beat President Donald “Horrible” Trump in 2020.
“We cannot afford four more years of President Trump’s reckless and unethical actions,” Bloomberg said on his campaign website. “We must win this election. And we must begin rebuilding America. I believe my unique set of experiences in business, government, and philanthropy will enable me to win and lead”.
Bloomberg is one of the richest men in the world, enters the race with a huge financial edge over his Democratic rivals. He brings his huge personal fortune as well as his vulnerabilities. His decision to run collapses Joe Biden’s candidacy. Apparently Democrats risk to be more confused now then before Bloomberg’s decision.
